The Ultimate Success formula of a Da’ee disclosed!

“O Allaah, grant me efficiency in my da’wah, make me a successful da’eeyah, and give me the tawfeeq to represent the beauty of Islam that I taste in my heart. Ameen Ya Rabbul ‘Alameen!” Zaynab cried out in the middle of the night.

Zaynab was a struggling muslimah, striving hard to give da’wah to her family and loved ones. She wanted to see them enjoy their lives in the bliss of Islam and she couldn’t tolerate them being indulged in actions that led to being thrown to Hell-fire.

As the restless and tearful Zaynab extended her hands to reach out to her water bottle, a book on her bookshelf caught her eyes. She reached for the book instead and flipped through the pages. Her eyes were now gleaming as the secret to a successful da’eeyah was now being disclosed to her. This time her role model was Abu Bakr raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him).

Many of us know very little of this role model, Abu Bakr raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him). However, we do know this, that a lot of great Muslims like ‘Uthman raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him) came to Islam through his da’wah. In fact, many of the ten blessed companions given the glad tidings of Jannah accepted Islam through the da’wah of this amazing man, Abu Bakr. But, what was the secret formula he internalized and applied

In one word, Abu Bakr raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him) was a man of Quran. He lived by the Quran, recited it, contemplated its meanings, and implemented its teachings in his very own life. This very close attachment of his to the Book of Allah brought some amazing fruits in his Da’wah efforts.

Quran is the Word of Allaah, and there is nothing that can soften the hearts of man more than the Kalamullaah, because our Creator knows best how to reach out to the hearts of His creation. Hence, Abu Bakr’s close attachment to the book of Allaah instilled in him eloquence, profound thinking, and the ability to present knowledge in a logical manner. He studied Allaah’s Speech day and night, and as a result internalized the same methods of attracting men to truth that Allaah used in the Qur’an. And hence, is there is any question why he was so successful in his da’wah efforts?

Be a true representative of the most beautiful religion, Islam. Be a mirror reflecting the purpose and meaning of the true religion, from Our creator. Be the Da’eeyah you want to be, but be thorough;

[fancy_list style=”check_list”]

  • Reciting the Qur’an
  • Contemplating over its meanings
  • Put its teachings into practice
  • Being a constant companion of this miracle

“I want to be Abu Bakr!” exclaimed Zaynab with her face shining bright with happiness, tears overflowing her eyes.

This time the tears were due to the happiness that Allaah subḥānahu wa ta'āla (glorified and exalted be He) has guided her and never disappointed her. Zaynab found her answer, what about you?
